2. Data in DropBy
DropBy processes data entered by the user exclusively to manage subscribers and delivery rounds. This may include first and last names, streets, house numbers, notes, delivery histories, and app settings.
3. Local Storage and iCloud
App data is stored locally on the device and is not transmitted to the developer. When iCloud is available, subscribers, delivery histories, and required app settings may sync automatically between the user's devices through their private iCloud storage. This processing is provided by Apple services.
4. Apple Watch
The Apple Watch app exchanges the active delivery round and related actions directly with the paired iPhone through Apple WatchConnectivity. This data is not transmitted to the developer.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
DropBy Pro purchases and subscription management are processed through the Apple App Store. DropBy checks locally whether a valid subscription exists. The developer does not receive complete payment card or banking details.
6. Cookies and Tracking
The DropBy website does not use analytics, marketing, or tracking services and does not set cookies. The app contains no advertising or tracking SDKs.
7. Deleting Data
Subscribers and delivery rounds can be deleted directly in the app. Uninstalling DropBy removes locally stored data from the device. Data already synchronized with the user's private iCloud account can be managed through their iCloud storage settings.
8. Data Subject Rights
Within the applicable legal requirements, data subjects have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
9. Server Logs and Contact
When the website is accessed, the hosting provider may process technically necessary connection data in server log files. When contacting us by email, the sender address, message content, and any voluntarily provided information are processed to respond to the request.
